how can I calculate the goertzel algorithm in excel on  a single column of time series data?

Here is a website with a pretty good explanation of the Goertzel Algorithm and a simple program in C.

You could probably translate the C to Excel.

How many time samples do you have?  And where are they coming from??

I think Excel is a great tool for calculations, but this is probably a stretch.
