failed to save document

i spent a long time creating this doc  and it give sme an error failed to save document..

is there a way around so i can be able to save it and not lose what i created?

It may depend on what the error is.  

Permissions or lack of space
Did you try to save it to another directory or drive?

Error in the report
Delete a formula or some of the fields
