Exchange 2003 OWA second IP address issues -- Sonicwall NAT --

My issue involves OWA for Exchange 2003

I just upgraded our domain from NT to 2003 and went from Exchange 5.5 to 2003.  On Exchange 5.5 we had OWA setup with a different IP than the actual Exchange so that I can use my Sonicwall Firewall to NAT my live IP's for Exchange and OWA to the same physical machine.  The Sonicwall won't let me NAT 2 Live IP's to the same internal IP.

I added a second IP to the adapter, and then changed the Default Web Site in IIS to use that second IP instead of "all unassigned".

I changed our Sonicwall to NAT the OWA live IP to the IP that I put in IIS.

When I try it internally I can use that new IP/exchange and access OWA, but when I leave the Lan and try to come in externally it does not work.  The page does not respond.

Any ideas would be helpful.

I don't see what having two IP addresses gains you.
Why don't you want Exchange and OWA on the same IP address? Having everything on the same IP address makes life so much easier - you can then use a single SSL certificate for OWA and RPC/HTTPS (if you using that feature).
