BigInteger b = new BigInteger(500);
String s = b.toString();

PS.
I think you should download the Java doc in HTMLHelp or WinHelp format from http://www.allimant.org/javadoc/indexe.html
Then you can quickly search for an answer on this kind of questions (an others)
