This applies to a Redhat Enterprise 3 server...

I am moving all of my users to a new server. We had a weak passwor d policy on the old server, so at the same time I would like to create new passwords for the users. I already have my password list created (in plain text)

What I can't figure out is how to assign them to the users. I know I can use usermod -p "encrypted password" username to do the assignment, but how can I script this so that i don't have to use the passwd command and type in the randomly generated passwords for everyoe manually
