Disable hotkeys/flag key
I think this should be a simply registry hack.  I would like to get this down without any thrid party software if possible.

I would like to disable ALL hotkeys (ex. ctrl+n = new window in IE, or Flag for start menu).

I have a machine that runs internet explorer in kiosk mode and want to diable ALL the possible hot keys so nobody can get out of the ie screen.

Any help would be great.

hmmm...."This restriction allows you to disable the use of the Windows hotkey combinations that provide shortcuts to the Start Menu and task swapping."
.....not sure what you mean by FLAG for start menu

Tried that already.  Works well for flag+ hotkeys but the flag key still brings up the start menu and ctrl+n still opens new window in explorer

By FLAG I mean the windows key.  if you hit the windows key the start menu pops up.

....I've never tried it ...might be part of what you're looking for.

ctrl + n might not be doable thru registry .... any solutions ive seen are thru javascript.

That takes care of the windows key, now I need to disable the browser hotkeys.  Not sure how I would do this with javascript since I will be loading mapquest into the window.  I am open for ANY ideas.

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
