Using data in an array to generate a report

 hello experts,

I have an array where I keep all my category objects. Category object store data such as cost, retail,subtotal... I want to create a report from this array. Is there anyway to use crystall reports programatically? When I deploy this application to another computer do I need to deploy crystall reports engine with my program? Is there a better alternative.

Thanks

just dump the array data to a dataset. Create a crystal report that connects to that dataset. Yes u will have to include the crystal report modules to the setup project for distribution. Now I would say this is the best way, crystal report is a very power report builder......
