Symantec Gateway Security 440

I have installed this firewall and it is creating collisions on my router(Netopia).
Since this has been put in place our network is on its knees.

I could really use some help figuring out why these collisions are happening.

I suspect the way it is connected...Honestly i dont have any handson with NetOpia...I assume routers work in the same way;)..so you can match it up with Cisco n try to conclude some thing..
