jsessionid question?

I have my application servers. I have shut down my Cookies for session management and turned on URLRewriting.

So I have following sesssion id: 0000aqwslwlkj;-1 appended to my html.

Now when I do request.getSession().getId(); this is what I get:  aqwslwlkj

How can make sure that i get something consistent since I want to store my session id.

Thanx in advance.

When you say 'consistent', what do you mean, and how is that *in*consistent?

well i found a solution myself.

This would only give the jsessionid. Then I could use that one using a simple substring.

Thanx again.
