Is there a way in Delphi to have the application 'hiding' its icon from the bottom desktop task bar where it appears, by default, when the application is started.
I need to do it from the application itself, not from some Windows trick...

Wrong place to ask this question LeTray :-)
But luckily, I am a Delphi programmer as well, so no problem.

Check out the links on Google:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=Delphi+-+Hide+from+Taskbar
&
http://www.delphi-central.com/Hints/HideButtonTaskbar.aspx
// this one is probably going to give you quicker results
// instead of going through all the Google Links.

Also, Check out Experts Exchange Delphi pages

We are also working on a Delphi Site of our own as well.
Just keep this link handy, right now it is not working. But will be some enough.
