unicode problem

When i view my website in unicode encoding in IE it replaces my ' with ?
i mean apostrophes with a ? mark

suppose this line

I'll is shown as I?ll

any ideas on how to resolve it?

I am not using any unicode symbols
its just normal apostrohes are replaced by a ?

i tried that
it prints that onscreen for me...
this happens only if i change viee->encoding->unicode

because the QA team has done that and since this is going to be used worldwide they want it to work fine under all encodings

and its arial

You are using unicode encoding, so all your characters are unicode

Cause for this is generally because the font does not have a glyph to display that character

try changing the font to verdana as a quick test

Ok i did the font and changed it works...

one more thing is that i have a xml file which has some error messages and there spaces are written with  
but that is also shown on screen as '????'
can u tell me anyother way of writing space instead of
