asked on

CISSP books

I have a couple of questions about the CISSP certifications.

1. I know this question has been asked many times in the past but I want to know again from other sources too.

Which book or books are good to prepare for the CISSP exam?

2. Which do you think are good boot camps out there to prepare for the CISSP exam?

Thanks,

Pepino125.

CISSP(R) All-in-One Exam Guide, Third Edition (All-in-One)
by Shon Harris

I used the 2nd edition about 2 years ago to review for my CISSP. With the book and knowledge I had (no boot camp required) - I passed the test on the first time.

Good luck with the Exam - If you have the experience and don't over-analyze the question/answers, you should do fine

books alone are note quite enough, they all pretty much do the job, its not a technical exam.

you'll need to check that you have understood the concepts, go to www.boson.com, they have cissp exams covering all topics in great details with explanations.  A half decent book, boson and a good memory will get you thru the exam.
