Bypass ISA server
I am struggling to get an answer to what I would have thought was a fairly common scenario with ISA server so I apologise if this is not the right topic area for this.
I have a Small Business Server 2003 Premium with ISA server installed. All of the PC's have Microsoft Firewall Client installed and every thing works fine. The problem occurs with laptops.
The company LAN has a wireless access point behind the ISA server and the laptops connect via this to the network and also have Firewall Client Installed but they also want to use the Internet on their home wireless networks where there is no ISA server.
The solution that I currently have is to use netswitcher for them to change location and disable the firewall client when at home. This is OK but I would much prefer a solution that does not require any manual intervention at all.
So the question is this. Can ISA server be configured so that the laptop users do not have to have a Firewall client installed to access the Internet when they are in the office?
