Exchange 2003 licensing vs Exchange 2000

My company wants to upgrade our current Exchange 5.5 to 2000 or 2003.  In looking into the purchase of 2003, I noticed that we have to purchase the enterprise license AND 300 Cals.  If we purchase 2000, do we still have to buy the CALS?

    Yep, you'll need those for whichever version of Exchange you buy.
