I'm sorry I figured out what I was doing... heh it wasn't anything to do with the database, but rather a cookie user name getting stored instead of the &quot;true&quot; member name... resulting in all lower case.<br />

How come when I retrive values from an sql database in perl, everything is in lowercase. I looked at the actual database and everything is capitalized right.<br />

Why is it doing this?<br />

SQL values won't keep case
