i have an a7n8x deluxe, pcb revision 1.04, and bios version 1.008.
i have enable usb legacy keyboard and usb legacy mouse support but i dont see any usb boot options in the boot sequence section.
ive read about people getting usb flash drives working on this motherboard, how is this done?

also what do i need to do to the flash drive in order to boot from it?
if i compy the files from a knoppix cd will it be enough to boot from it or must i do something with boot sectors?

    Accepted Solution

maybe i misunderstand you, but what do you want ? use the usb ports? this works if you installed all your motherboard drivers
And yes, there is no usb boot option in your bios.

if you want to boot from a usb device, i would suggest using a PCI to usb card, this will allow you to boot from it
