Here's the sample application for CR9

I can't remember if this method worked with CR7 you may need to upgrade.

Hope this helps

Hi jalicej,

I don't think you can incorporate images with crystal reports 7
Crystal Reports 8 and later allows you to incorporate images into a report.
An effective method to include images is to report off a field that contains the image data. This method is dependent on the following:
• The database type
• The data type of the field that contains the physical image data This document provides instructions based on the database type that you are currently using and the data types that are available.

Or you can use RDC (Report Designer Component)

Kindly check the links below for further info:

I don't believe you can do that in CR7.  They added that ability in CR8.

If you r using CR 8 you need to use the method posted by jrmn

http://support.businessobjects.com/communityCS/FilesAndUpdates/cr8_vb_rdc_loadpic.exe.asp

this uses thes ection_format event and the VB method LoadPicture

Only CR XI supports dunamic images via the report designer prior to that you have to use the RDC or 3rd party components such as CViewImage http://www.chelseatech.co.nz/ctprod.htm#cViewImage to accomplish this

Hi, I think I have given the asker a pretty nice solution to the problem related to cr 7 and 8.
GJParker gave him/her also a nice one using cr 11.
