I have this folowing problem for few days :
When I close outlook 2000 (on win 2k server sp3) I get this error message:

OUTLOOK.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x66015960" referenced memory at "0x019d2f90". The memory could not be
"read" .
Click on OK to terminate the program.

    Accepted Solution

I would try to troubleshoot this way

If you have Word as the default email editor, disable it and check closing Outlook

Try to update outlook 2000 with all the latest updates and then check what happens

If you have any add-ins attached to Outlook , disable them to see what happens.

Temporarily turn off Anti-virus and see if that would help
