Using Wireless Network

I have a cable modem, to a D LInk router (wired Lan and wireless)  If I wanted to hook up 2 pcs, in another area of the house can I use another Dlink router to do that (so i dont have to buy 2 wireless cards).   So it would be this

Cable modem ****  DLINK router ** WIRELESS SIGNAL **  DLINK ROUTER
                                   LAN PC                                              LAN PC
                                                                                           LAN PC

What model Dlink router do you have?  More than likely you can.. but We have to know the version of router.

The Dlink router hooked to the modem is a DI-524 Air 802.11g  and the other router would be a DI-514  Air 802.11B.

From what I can read on the specs on both routers, neither one can be used as a bridge.... looks like you will have to buy two wireless cards..   Or you could run a cat5e cable between the two routers...

How big is your house that one isnt enough?

Roughly , I would think an Access point be a solution here. Some APs might be used as a Bridge.. The Access point on the other end of the house might have one port free to use for One LAN PC and use a Switch to another PC..

There's no way to run cables between the 1st router and the other PC's.  So My only option is an AP.  What exactly is that, does it have LAN ports on it
