Adding programs to system tray or startup

Hi
I like to find a way to add programs to the system tray without having them in the taskbar or opening normal view ,I just want them to show like norton or clock or sound ,
i like to see internet explorer open in system tray only like netscape, only in the memory for faster launching, and i also like to add a specific program so i dont have to do the task everytime i restart the computer, but i dont need third party software(automation software) ,i like to know how to do it myself.
thanks for any inputs.

You might be better just by using DRAG & DROP with normal links into the FAST START taskbar.  That way, no processes are running (making your PC slower) and are much easier to change when you want to.  A single click starts the program you want.  Just right-click on the grey area of the bottom taskbar, select the top option, and then FAST START (sorry, but by me it's in German).  You should also deactivate the FIXED TASK BAR setting before you do this so that you can add as many as you want and see them all the time.

If you want to do it yourself
I hope you know how to programming.
Else you can download a software which allow you to put Application into the systray.

Just take a look at  Intech SysTrayOCX :

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Hi sai2480
you right ,I'm was looking for way to do it myself but i dont know how and no one else gave me a hint, so now i'm looking for the same result even if there is a program that will allow me to do the trick,I like to have a program that starts like the process starts on the background even before the login into the computer and the reason for all this is i'm trying to run speedfan program so it starts as a service, so that the fan voltage and speed get changed without having to do it manually or having to login and wait for the system start up to put it in the tray, i hope you got my message of what i'm trying to do here,
any inputs will be much appreciated
Thanks to you all

Hi escapetimmins,

I donno if you know VB or any other programming Language.

You get Systray VB Module on net. By this you can write the program and invoke what you want to. You can Invoke any application you want into the program you write.

http://vb.mvps.org/samples/project.asp?id=Tray

Check the Above link. It explains.

PS: Try first on simple application and then invoke your application.

Thanks sai2480 for your input but unfortunatly I'm not good at programming ,
I installed the hook program and another but didnt know what to do with it,I guess I may think of getting to learn some vb,
I'm going to see in cnet some kind of programs concerning systray or automated task of programs but it's nice to find a way to mke a program starts as a service
