Easy Way to Replace VML Code in a FrontPage Site?

I've got a friend who has a site that she built using FrontPage and it's heavy with VML code... so much to the point that the page is completely unrecognizable when you're not viewing it in a VML compliant browser.  She asked for advice on cleaning up her site code so that people other than Wintel IE users can see her site too, but VML and FrontPage are totally foreign to me.  Is there an easy way to tell FrontPage to render a page that's built using VML in CSS elements instead?

Here's a link to her page in case it comes in handy for you:

Ideally I'm looking for a step by step answer on how to run a process in FrontPage that can convert this code since she can do that herself or if there's no straightforward way of doing a conversion in FrontPage, I could use advice on executing a string replacement or manual conversion procedure on how to replace VML with CSS elements and images.  Thanks!

First -- take a look at this ariticle:

In most cases the CSS elements will not do what the VML is doing. I would try reformating your code to help the html view by swithing to Code/HTML view in FP and then right click and select reformat HTML. This will certainly clean things up for you but will not eliminate the VML code. To really clean things up I recommend eliminating the Front Page components you are using and use more JavaScript to build your menus and mouse over buttons. This is more acceptable for different versions of browsers and makes editing the document much easier.

You can also set Front Page defaults to make sure you are not using components that are not viewable by older browsers.

All in all I think the site looks great and is very easy to navigate.

Thanks!  I've passed the info along to my friend.  I'll leave this question open for another couple of days.
