HP SIM HTTP Status Check Service
I've recently installed SIM 4.2 on a Win2K3 enterprise server. After the installation I've started SIM but the HTTP Status check service was on for many hours. I've then completely uninstalled SIM, restarted and reinstalled SIM but it was still the same. I've check the event logs and found 3 entries related to this.
The first one is "Restarting MxAgent",
the second one is " MxAgenthas started"
and the third one is " AgentDeamon received a remote exception while binding to the RMI registry".
Anyone got any ideas please.

I have resolved the problem my self. The errors were caused of having two nics active Public and Private. Disabling the second nic resolves the problem.

Uninstall it all?
If so give regcleaner a try and remove the regkeys + remove the apps from the startuplist.
