Can someone explain to me how to add a route to my server

I have a server with say ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and gateway ggg.ggg.ggg.ggg on server

There is also a branch gateway of say bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb

Now in another branch someone wants to access a my server resource ....so what will be the route to add to allow the individual to access the server. I want to add the static route on the server.

I hope this makes sense.

Sorry, I forgot to mention my server is win 2000 server

In command line (CMD) of the server enter

route –p ADD <ip of branch or workstation> MASK <netmask of branch> bbb.bbb.bbb.bbb  METRIC 1

I guess the route from the branch to your central network is already there. Otherwise the branch couldn't connect any resource on your central network.

You can also enter the route back to the branch in your default gateway ggg.ggg.ggg.ggg.
