Can't select Lotus script when creating agent.

A user told me that he can't select Lotus Script instead of Simple Action(s) because Simple Action(s) is grey, and the button is inactive. (cannot scroll down the list). He's using R5

I did following:
I opened Lotus Notes with my ID file and opened my mailbox on his PC and clicked Create -> Agent.
I was surprised because I couldn't select Lotus script either.
Although I have all the rights because I'm the LN administrator and I can select Lotus script on my own PC.
I'm using R6
What can be the problem?

I checked it on several PC'c and found some where definitely no Designer is installed and still the Lotus script can be selected when creating agent. (R6 client)

On PCs with R5 everybody can click -> Create -> Agent or View -> Agents and able to select a Simple Action(s).

But on PCs with R6 Agent doesn't appear when the user clicks Create -> Agent or View -> Agents.
Is that normal?

Sorry, I can't check.... I only have R5 clients (some with, most without designer installed) and a few R6 clients, all with designer client. None of them have R6 without.... No possibility to install one either.
For R5 clients I've seen such limitations before.

The only other things that I can think of are the users licence type and the ACL. Being an administrator, I'm sure you've already checked these.
All right, strange things sometimes happen.
Hi attila01,

Did you mean "agent doesn't appear" or "LotusScript doesn't appear" ?

Best regards,

Hi qwaletee,

I mean that on PCs ( R6 client ) where no Designer is installed the user can't see the line "Agent" when he clicks on "Create" in the menü.
That's odd.  I have lots f R6 client-only installations, and in every view, I can do Create->View... the only limitation is that it will be "Simple Actions" only.
