Hi all,

A friend (who lives in a different town) and I are writing some code together.  We had the idea of sharing the code on some free webspace.  Can anyone recommend some good ,free source control software we could use, preferably with some security?

Please let me know if this question doesn't make sense or if this is a bad idea all together!

Get an account on sourceforge.org - you will have to be developing an open-source project for this though.
