WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED TO DEVELOP A WEBSITE USING FLASH MX AS AN INTERFACE.
I want to create a web site using ASP.NET (or PHP) and flash MX as an interface with SQL SERVER as a database.
I know there are a few other things I ll need to complete the set of tools I need to develop such a site. Please fill in the blanks ?
COMBO 1 :
ASP.NET (C#), FLASH MX PRO, SQL SERVER 2000, __________, ___________
(add more items if there are more then 2).
COMBO 2:
PHP, FLASH MX PRO, MYSQL (or SQL SERVER 2000), _________________, _____________
From what I have read I know that for Combo 1 I need some more stuff like Flash MX remoting etc
and combo 2 might need AMFPHP and tools of a similar nature.
Please let me know.

but what about the extra tools i need to add the flash mx component.....
If you are not using code-behind than the Macromedia Dreamweaver will be best for you.
For code behind, you will need to use VS .NET and with little practise, you can gain control on the object layout easily.
The following book will be really helpful in your case:

but what other tools will I need like for example FLASH MX REMOTING and so on and so forth.
ActuallY i need to create a budget to buy relevant tools and I have to make sure it is within a certain range.

let me rephrase the question here :
to make a cake you need flour sugar eggs milk etc
similarily what exact tools I need to create a website as I have described above.

I recommand Visual Studio 2003 (or 2005 if you can wait for 3 or 4 months). This is the best tool to developp web app with ASP .Net (because it's Microsoft product and .Net Framework is Microsoft base product).
