Hi,

Smartlink modem is winmodem, isn't it?

1. Install the kernel-source from FC1 CD
redhat-config-packages
and select the kernel development.
or
download kernel-source from (make sure your kernel version is 2.4.22-1.2115 by running "uname -r")
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/1/i386/os/Fedora/RPMS/kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i386.rpm
rpm -ivh kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i386.rpm

2. Download the driver from smarlink website
http://www.smlink.com/objects/slmodem-2.9.10.tar.gz

3. Uncompress it
tar zxf slmodem-2.9.10.tar.gz

4. Follow the instruction in Readme file.
cd slmodem-2.9.10
make
make install
modprobe .....
Please read the Readme file for details.
