Project server unable to connect to a Sharepoint Site

Maybe this is not the place to post the question, however, there is not a SPS area so here I go.  A project server is unable to connect to a Sharepoint site.  I have not work very much at all with Projec server.  Windows 2003 server and Sharepoint site.
