Cfform flash form scope disappearing after refresh

I am using CFMX 7.  I have a flash form that I fill out and click submit to go to the next page which is also a form.  If I do a refresh on that next page the form scope from the first page disappears.  Why is this happening?

In your application.cfm make sessionmanagement ="yes" ,

The store your form.variable to session.variables, you'll find they won't disappear on ya. Haven't played with CF 7 yet, but it shouldn't be too different.

if you then need the variables to be cleared you'll have to do a structdelete(session.variable),

<cfif Not IsDefined("SESSION.VariableStruct")>
     <cfset SESSION.VariableStruct= StructNew()>
</cfif>

<cfif IsDefined("Form.Form1")>
      <cfset SESSION.VariableStruct.Form1 = "#Form.Form1#"></cfif>

<input type="text" name="FormB" value="SESSION.VariableStruct.Form1">

To delete or clear that value then...

<structdelete("Session.VariableStruct")>

You can make an IF statement with structdelete() with a button's value to make a clear button.

Freyacomm,

Thanks for the points, but maybe you should review how the points are awarded? Notice a grade of C... is this what was demonstrated? Hardly worth answering a 50 point question!

Have a look here! http://www.experts-exchange.com/jsp/help.jsp#hi73

This if directly from EE:
A: The Expert(s) either provided you with a thorough answer or they provided you with a link to information that thoroughly answered your question. An "A" can also be given to any answer that you found informative or enlightening beyond the direct question that you asked.

B: The Expert(s) provided an acceptable solution, or a link to an acceptable solution, that you were able to use, although you may have needed a bit more information to complete the task.

C: Because Experts' reliability are often judged by their grading records, many Experts would like the opportunity to clarify if you have questions about their solutions. If you have given the Expert(s) ample time to respond to your clarification posts and you have responded to each of their posts providing requested information; or if the answers, after clarification, lack finality or do not completely address the issue presented, then a "C" grade is an option. You also have the option here of just asking Community Support to delete the question.

trailblazzyr55 ,
I apologize, I wasn't aware what the grading scale meant.  After reading the link you supplied I would've given the score of B because while the answer didn't exactly work for me it did help me figure out how to resolve me issue.  I'm having a bit of trouble locating the contact info for Community Support to request a grade change.  Where can I find that?

Thanks

Freyacomm,

:o) Not a problem..

You can post a comment requesting what you'd like to do at the community support forum here:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Community_Support/

Just tell them what you'd like to do, and give them the URL to the question, and they will take care of it.

Best Regards,
