Abort - Prevent shutdown...

In XP its easy to prevent a shutdown caused by unwanted applications by typing
Shutdown/a in command prompt...

Is there a way to prevent an abnormal shutdown at windows 2000 ?
Or an application ?

    Same answer, shutdown /a it's only not copied by default and is part of the resource kit. Just copy it into a folder which is in your path (e.g. c:\winnt or c:\winnt\system32)

    Yes you can also copy it from XP to Windows 2000 should just work as normal.
    There is also an alternative from (under freeware tools) called PShutdown. I use this one most of the times.
