VMWARE ESX virtual machines are reachable by network

We have changed our VMWARE ESX 2.1 server to another VLAN and change the ip address.

3 x 1 GBit ethernet cards are bundled and are 1 eth0 interface in Red Hat.

The virtual machines use load balanced the 3 nics as 1 networkcard.

The strange thing is that when we have a SSH session with the ESX host in Red hat we cannot ping anything on the network. Destination host unreachable is the only message we get.

Virtual machines are fine and can be connected. Virtual machines can't ping to the ESX host: Request timeout is than happening.

Please help to get to the MUI so we can handle VMWAre ESX and so on.

We've solved the issue the reason was that the ESX host was on another dedicated nic than the virtual machines were.
