Word won't stop repaginating my open docs.......very intermittent behavior.
I am currently having the following problem with Word.......
Word Version: 2000 Build: 9.0.6926 SP-3
Environment: Windows XP Version 2002 SP-2
Scenario:
1.) Had several docs open 2 days ago when this issue first occurred. I was copying and pasting between docs, saving, and saving-As new doc titles.
2.) On 2 of the documents Word I noticed my cursor "flickering" between the pointer and the hourglass. I then noticed the Status bar flickering as well and I could just
make out the word "repaginating" amidst the flickering. It looked as though word was repaginating the document over and over and over as I noticed also that the
page numbers were cycling very fast in the "repaginating...." message.
3.) This was occurring any time I was not actively editing or navigating the document. Once I would move the cursor, it would stop...but only to start again in a couple
seconds.
4.) Today I am having the same problem on other documents that have NO association with the docs I was using the other day. For instance, I have a template that I
renamed and resaved today, and when I open a new document based on this template, the problem is occurring.
I am at a loss as to where this issue is stemming from and how to fix it. Let me know if I've left any details out here.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Just to add some spice to the recipe, I thought I'd add the following detail.....
This problem has a habit of miraculously resolving itself, as it just did.......but it will be back again, guaranteed! Same thing happened the other day, it just stopped doing it, but then started again later that afternoon.

That's cool.....
I didn't see it under General either, but I am running a detect & repair right now to see if it does anything.
Will let u know.

I went to Tools > Options > Print ....... That option is nowhere on the tabbed page. Not even a greyed out option. I switched to normal view.....still not there.
Any ideas?
