What firewall rule is needed to print accross sonicwall to Linksys Print Server

I have a network with two subnets.  The primary network connected to the Sonicwall LAN port is 192.168.2.0  and the secondary subnet connected to the OPT port of the Sonicwall is 192.168.200.0.  My print server is 192.168.2.160.

If I have the rule allowing ANY from OPT to LAN and ANY from LAN to OPT, the users on the 200 subnet print just fine.  When I tighten the firewall, printing fails from the 200 subnet, with just garbage charactors printing. I have been unable to find any documentation to tell me exactly what ports to open, and web searches have given different answers.  My rules allow the following ports to be open: 9100-9103, 515,631,1077, 4100,4200,4300, but I still have problems.

Any suggestions out there

Are you talking about printing to printer shares on a computer?

•      Microsoft file sharing SMB: User Datagram Protocol (UDP) ports from 135 through 139 and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) ports from 135 through 139.
•      Direct-hosted SMB traffic without a network basic input/output system (NetBIOS): port 445 (TCP and UPD).

Try those ports and see what happens.

No, I have a Linksys EPSX3 Printer Server with three parallel ports.  I'll try it.
How do you install the printers on the computers?  With Linksys software?
I have them running as either IPP ports or LPR.

To my surprise, it is port  138 UDP.  Thanks for your efforts. All works fine now.
Glad it works.
So do I get points? (I only ask because I'm going on vacation soon... )
