How to create a timing icon/message box/popup window to show how long it will run?

Did you see some website or flash have the count down message when they are downloading something?
 I want to create something like that in Access too.  It can be a percentage counter or time.  Such as 100% -> 90% -> 0%    or  00:03:00 -> 00:02:59 -> 00:00:00
