I am trying to install a 250 Gig hdd and it seems the bios does nto support LBA. Where can I go to upgrade the bios? Thanks

Everest Home Edition ....freeware ....download and run it.  Will tell you what your bios is and ususally provides a link to any available bios upgrades.

wait a minute, I just installed the secondary hdd that is 200 gig and it worked... hmm
ok so here is a new report it looks like it is not the bios but instead the OS. The 250 gig hdd is the Primary partition and is running xp pro with SP 2. Only 99gig of the hdd shows up. the hard drive is a western digital.
