For Arial & Verdana, what is the largest px size one can them to before they appear bold?

Put another way: at what px size do arial & verdana begin to appear bold?

    I think it depends on the browser and OS and screen resolution.

    On Firefox on XP at 1024x768: Arial goes "bold" above 13pt17px and verdana above 12pt/16px.

    You can try this out yourself by using this html page and changing the values.

    <head><title>Font Index page</title>
    <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
    p {font-size: 17px; font-family: verdana }
