Need Code for XML in PERL

Hello, i want a couple of subs created:
   1) SetXMLData(filename, table, field, fieldvalue)
   2) GetXMLData(filename, table, field)

I want to be able to save a new xml file if the xml file does not exist, and i want it update records if they areldy exist (does not allow dups)

    There is nothing in there about XML....
