Error 500 is a number over 256, which means that the error is specific to Sony-Ericsson, and I don't have their AT command documents.  However, if you are able to send SMS via Text Mode protocol, the it means that the problem is with your pdu string.  You have to check Sony-ericsson AT command set to see the pdu format, or find someone elses.  Here is a web page where there is one good example, but it uses Nokia phone:

When I compare your string and the one from this page, there is a big difference.  I think you should at first start your pdu string with 00 to let phone use its stored sms center number end so on and so on....

There is also a great project  on the Code Project site where this guy made a VB application for converting text to PDU mode and visa-versa, you should check that out too:

I hope this solves your problem, and you accept my answer!

your message length parameter seems to be wrong.

For the PDU string "069290110005F011000B929021732263F00000AA0CC8F71D14969741F977FD07" try to use AT+CMGS=25 instead of 15.

The parameter to AT+CMGS specifies the actual PDU length, that is without any SMSC-related information.

    P.S.: I'm fine, thanks.
