Can anyone give me some hints on writing a VB.NET function in .NET that will receive an argument as a string (the string is a text file's data that has been read in previously), and <br />
will parse for something such as &nbsp;_XYZsomething here_XYZ (using a regular expression) and return the string something here?<br />

VB.NET Regular Expression Function

A regular expression ("regex") is a sequence of characters that define a search pattern, mainly for use in pattern matching with strings, or string matching, i.e. "find and replace"-like operations. Most other languages offer regular expressions via a library.
