Harddrive permissions problem after clone

We have several hundred Dell computers.  Some batches of the GX270's we purchased came with maxtor harddrives which are all going bad.  I am in the process of trying to clone them to different branded harddrives such as Western Digital.  The problem I run into is after the new drive is installed in the pc and boots up, windows tries to install a driver for the harddrive.  It always ends with an access denied error.  The system continues to run fine after you click ok, but every time it is rebooted, windows attempts to install the harddrive and receives an access denied message.

Try opening the HDD Manager.  It might come up with a message that the HDD is not registered and asks if you want to do so now.  Clicking YES may very well solve the problem.  If not, right click and go to properties.  I have had this before when switching manufacturers.
