Ping from single host to single remote subnet fails

If I attempt to ping from 10.62.177.120 to 10.62.178.66 the ping fails.
However, if I pint anything else from that address on teh 178.x net it works fine.

We have Cisco2950 routers on each end.

I'm confused on this one.

If I ping the destination name I get resolution and then timeout.
If I tracert I get

C:\Documents and Settings\matthew>tracert 10.62.178.66

Tracing route to mozart.xxxxxx.com [10.62.178.66]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1   <10 ms   <10 ms    16 ms  10.62.177.1
  2   <10 ms   <10 ms    16 ms  192.168.5.2
  3     *        *        *     Request timed out.

177.1 is a router as is 5.2 / 5.1 and 178.1

What am I missing - What should I be looking for?

Matt
