User name reversed in email employee list

I added a new user to the exchange 5.5 server and recently found out that her name is reversed in the employee list.  I tried to fix it by reversing it in the display box on the server but when I went to check the employee list is showed up first name than last name.  I tried to delete and than add the user again but had no luck.  Any ideas?

It sounds to me that you may have a new Exchange server or reinstalled one and that you have not modified how you want the Mailboxes created.
I don't remember exactly where, but go to the properties of the following containers in Exchange Admin and check all the tabs. You will know it when you see it.

    Name of your SERVER

What you will need to do is to export the contents of the existing mailbox to a PST file, delete the mailbox and recreate it after making the above change.
Then import in the PST file.

Hope this helps. Sorry I don't have the exact steps, it has been quite awhile since I have done this.
