I bought my Knoppix Live CD off eBay for only 12 bucks. Saved me the hassle of downloading a 700+MB file. Works great!
Used it on both a WinXp and Win98se machine. I immediately burned 4 copies of the CD.
Anyway, buying it is cheap and problem free.
If you do want to download it, I recommend http://www.knoppix.org/
