Hi everyone,

Does anybody knows about a tablet PC, laptop or computer manufacturer that can build a tablet PC with very specific characteristics? something like taylor made tablet PC. I need this info urgent please!!!!!

What I need is to integrate a bar code reader inside a tablet pc, and I also need swapable batteries and a special vehicle mount. So I need someone to design it and manufacture it. The computer components are nothing special though.

Hi

Have you contacted any of the manufactures from the sites I listed, they customize tablet PC's, you teel them what you'd like, and they will tailor it to your needs. I'm not sure what all options they have available, but most require you to call or email for a quote after telling them what your needs are.

you can contact them thru that page to find out whether they currently provide, or can provide, the swappable batteries, while the car mount should be available either from them or other vendors.

Thanks guys, still finding out what my best option are. So far pretty good links you have post.
Advanced Electronics Design are very good option but I think it will be expensive, though I know they can do what I want.
The midcomdata Tablet looks great, just need to know about price and the swapable batteries so far looks like my best option. But still searching.
