unixware 7.1.1 with oracle 8i

I have a server in my work with SCO unixwqre 7.1.1 and it is used as database server with oracle 8i. the problem is that I receive this message repeatly " Notice: msgcnt 740 vxfs: mesg 001 vx_nospace /dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s4 filesystem full (1block extent)" so, it seems that the problem in the space. What can I do? The system is very important and I wish to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Can you remove or move data from the filesystem in question?  If you run df -k it will show you the mount point for this particular filesystem device.  The mount point will be a directory name where the logical filesystem is accessed - it could be listed as /u, /data, /files etc etc
Go into this folder and see if there is space you can free up - this will sort you out.

thanks for your help, the output of the df -k command is :
# df -k

Now and after a power cutoff, we restarted the server, and when we try to make connect internal on the svrmgrl it gives that the file is full.!!!? so the system is not working now.

In the df command you run, you see that the mount point for /dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s4 is /ora8i

Login as root and run
cd /ora8i

This is a data folder (Oracle 8 at a guess!)
There may be some rubbish files in here but its most likely full with data files.
If you are unsure what to remove, post an output of ls -l on this folder

Whatever you do, make sure you don't touch the /dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s4 file in /dev as this is the system file for the device.

thanks nodisco, I have removed some files from the ora8i/admin/cdump, bdump, and the capacity now is 84% and everything is working fine.

 thanks again
