The server has rebooted twice now in the past couple of weeks, looking at the event viewer it comes up with:

"The computer has rebooted form a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000d1 (ox0020e24a, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, x 0xf7552932).
Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in : C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP."

Any ideas anyone??

Apparently there's a hotfix but MS want you to phone them about it.

0xf7552932 is the instruction address of the failing driver. Attach 3 to 4 minidumps at any webspace. I will study the dump and find out the culprit. You can find the minidump at the folder \winnt\minidump

Three crashes at  SCSIPORT and one crash at symmpi.sys (miniport driver at IRQL 9).  I believed that it is software problem. What USB or SCSIdevice  did you use when the system crash? Do you install any firewall at your W2K?

Thanks for the reply.

There isn't a firewall installed. There is a HP Laserjet 1015 usb printer attached, a LSI Logic 1020/1030 Ultra 320 SCSI adapter with a HP C1537A SCSI tape drive attached.

We don't think it's the printer and the tape drive works (however there is a latest driver from MS)

Hmmm... any further thoughts?

Once again thanks.

I searched google and I find there have several windows relating RXIO Virtual CD. Your RXIO  is almost three years behind and it had better upgrading the latest patch. Can you recall when the windows crash, did you use RXIO virtual cd.

The timestamp of your cdr4_2k.sys
