Metaframe XPa user licenses

I have a Metaframe XPa farm with 55 user licenses.  Currently I am have one app that is deployed and has about 45 concurrent users.  These same 45 users now wish to access a second app that we will deploy on the same farm.

My question is do I need more user licenses?

Does Metaframe recognize that the same user is accessing two seperate apps as one license or is that user now using two licenses?

If it is two licenses, I think I have two options - buy more licenses or deploy a desktop and have the users use both apps from within that desktop.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Thanks a ton -

I called Citrix and they said the same.

I just confirmed this, and you could have as well using your Citrix server.  I logged in creating two different sessions from the same host, and while I show 33 sessions, I only see 32 licenses in use from the license view in the Metaframe Manager.

It looks like the Citrix licensing is concurrent connected hosts, versus concurrent sessions.
