Hi italianit,

What MSI file?
Do you get any error messages?
A little bit more information is needed to be able to assist you on this one.

When did you get error messages?
What software do you want to reinstall?

I am trying to install a program that the msi file is corrupted.  It states I dont have permissions.  I am the network administrator

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

If we know what program you're trying to install and what messages you get it might be easier to help you ;)
But anyway, that you're the network administrator doesn't mean there can't be permission issues, can you check the NTFS rights on the location you want to install the MSI?

Too see which process has the file in use, try http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/procexp.shtml
It'll be able to tell you which process (it could be it's just something you can disable for the moment)

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed allready?
If not, try reinstalling the  Microsoft Installer:
