Am I behind a firewall?

I need a simple, foolproof way to test wether the machine I'm sitting at is behind a firewall. Do anyone know about a simple online service or similiar method to test this?

You could go to http://www.whatismyip.com to tell you if your address is changing from inside to outside.  Then go to http://www.grc.com click on Shields up, then scroll down, and click on shields up again.  This is a free port scanning page - which isn't really an attack, more of a test to see what your vulnerabilities are - if you're clean, then it's a pretty good bet you're behind a firewall.
You can also go to http://probe.hackerwatch.org/probe/probe.asp This will send useless packets of info to your system to check for any open ports. I suggest you check your windows firewall settings which is located in "Network connections" Right Click on your "network connection" and click on the "advanced tab". This will list whether or not you have the firewall turned on locally. Also, Zone Alarm http://www.zonealarm.com is a very good way to secure your system or prevent intrusions. However a hareware firewall is the best protection so far.
