ESE Event 623 - Exchange SRS Database too large

Anyone seen this before and resolved it? Can't find any good information anywhere.  I've run eseutil, repaired, but always this error comes back up.

MSExchangeSRS (5996) SRS Storage: The version store for this instance (0) has reached its maximum size of 20Mb. It is likely that a long-running transaction is preventing cleanup of the version store and causing it to build up in size. Updates will be rejected until the long-running transaction has been completely committed or rolled back.
Possible long-running transaction:
      SessionId: 0x0C4D0560
      Session-context: 0x00000000
      Session-context ThreadId: 0x00001750

This is on Exchange 2k3 in a mixed mode site.

This is a new one on me. Hopefully someone else here has some ideas.

So I took the easy way out.  I installed the SRS on another exchange 2003 server, wiped it off the first one, recreated it, and then removed it from the second.  Everything is back up and happy now.
